Play Therapy Supervision
We offer a monthly virtual play therapy supervision group, led by an RPT-S play therapy supervisor.
Quick Look
Play therapy supervision provides a sense of community, mutual support, and continuous learning for clinicians wishing to advance their play therapy interventions in practice. Group and individual supervision are available virtually to licensed and associate level psychologists, therapists, social workers, and counselors, as well as graduate students who would like to pursue a play therapy credential. Other practitioners using therapeutic play techniques in their work may also join the group.

About Supervison

We offer a monthly virtual play therapy supervision group, led by Georgie Wisen-Vincent, an RPT-S play therapy supervisor. The groups are vibrant, highly engaged play therapists at various stages of training or earning the RPT, from seasoned licensed therapists to unlicensed associates. Most of them have a neurorelational focus to their clinical work. We also work with a number of individual supervisees who either need to supplement the number of hours of supervision they need per month based on the number of hours of play therapy clients they serve per week, or they want to do some in-depth consultation around concepts and detailed case review. Individual times are based on shared availability and can be scheduled by contacting us. Individual supervision is only available via Zoom.

The supervision group is led by an RPT-S and meets on the second Saturday of each month from 8:30am-10am Pacific Time (Los Angeles, CA). Each group is 1.5 hours, and open to graduate students, trainees, pre-licensed and licensed mental health professionals who are interested in becoming a Registered Play Therapist and completing RPT/RPT-S requirements as outlined by the Association for Play Therapy (www.a4pt.org) for supervised play therapy experience. Already an RPT or RPT-S? Continue learning, consult and network with us.

Cost:

There is an additional cost for play therapy supervision group at $75 per 1.5-hour session. The cost for individual supervision is $150 per 45 min session. No CE credits are offered for supervision, groups must be attended via Zoom to earn supervision hours.
